This is my fifth year at FCCNS and I teach one of our 2s classes with Megan McCarthy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University and worked as a writer and editor for Parents magazine for many years. (One of my favorite parts of the job was interviewing some of the nation’s top pediatricians and child-development experts!) I have been married for 21 years to my husband, Devon, and have lived in Darien for over 18 years. We have three children: Jack, a sophomore at Boston College, Katie, a junior at DHS, and Tommy, a freshman at DHS—all of whom went to FCCNS! In addition to spending time with my family, I am very involved with the First Congregational Church of Darien—in fact I have been on the Board of Christian Education for eight years. In my spare time I love to read, go for walks with my dog, and cheer on my kids at all of their sporting events!
