LAURA BAUM

My name is Laura Baum and I have worked at FCCNS since 2020. I have loved working as a support teacher and getting to know many of the different students and teachers. Prior to FCCNS, I worked as a Pre-K teacher in Darien from 2013-2017, and I was a first-grade teacher in Manhattan for one year prior to moving to CT. I received my B.A. from the University of Vermont and my master's in Elementary Education from Hunter College in Manhattan. My husband and I have lived in Darien since 2008. We have three kids at DHS; Molly is a senior, Jane is a sophomore and Teddy is a freshman. In my free time, I love to play tennis, go to the beach, and spend time with my family and friends.
