MEGAN MCCARTHY

I’m thrilled to be a part of this loving and supportive group of teachers and families at FCCNS!

I joined the team at FCCNS in 2021, first working as a floating teacher. For the past several years I’ve been working as a 2s teacher alongside Heather Walsh. Prior to coming to First Congregational, I worked at a local playgroup program in Darien & Rowayton. I am a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and before having kids, spent about 10 years working in finance in Boston & NYC.  My husband Brendan and I have lived in Darien since 2012, after spending 6 years abroad in Tokyo and Hong Kong (and having our 3 children there).  Now our (suddenly big) kids are in high school and college. I love to travel, hike, read and play tennis & paddle in my spare time, and also spend a lot of time walking our energetic goldendoodle, Shea.
