COLLEEN LYONS
2s Teacher
Colleen is in her eighth year teaching the Twos at FCCNS, where she teaches alongside Keri Golus. Before joining FCCNS, she spent four years as a teacher with PlayDates in Darien.

Colleen earned her B.A. in Political Science from Boston College in 1989 and began her career in New York City in Public Affairs, working at JP Morgan Chase, PaineWebber, and Clairol. In 2001, she transitioned to her favorite and most rewarding role—CEO of her family.

She and her husband, Ed have lived in Darien for more than 27 years, raising their three boys—Tim (26) Jack (25) and Tripp (22). In her spare time, Colleen enjoys reading, playing golf, tennis, pickleball and mahjong. She loves helping young children discover the joy of learning and building confidence in their first classroom experiences.
