PreK: Pizza Mondays

The children will have a pizza lunch together (or a lunch from home if your child prefers), play in the classroom, and have some outdoor play time as well (weather permitting).

The children will shake off the week and get ready for the weekend with indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting).

4's Tuesdays: Numbers and Science
​
Children investigate numbers and life sciences through hands-on activities and experiments. They will count, measure, mix, balance objects, and test different combinations. They will discover and further understand the world around them such as: Why does hair stand up in the winter? How can an ice cube stick to a string? What is hibernation? And what do worms eat?
​
Program time: 11:45am- 2:30pm

4's Wednesdays: Letters and Literature
​
Each week silly puppets will introduce a different letter of the alphabet through games, songs, activities and stories. Children will practice writing the letter of the week in the air, in sand, on paper – they may even try to form the letter with their body.

4's Thursdays: Yoga
​
Children will strengthen their bodies and calm their minds with Mrs. Trager, our beloved 4's teacher and certified children's yoga instructor.
*This will be a mixed group of 3's and 4's (capped at 16 children)

4's Thursdays: Kitchen Capers
​
Cooking is fun! Mrs. Keleghan and Mrs. Smith will our, measure, mix and create a delicious, fun and allergy conscious snack. Children should still pack a lunch as the weekly snack is to be enjoyed at the end of the afternoon. A teacher will contact parents with regards to allergies prior to the session starting.
*This will be a mixed group of 3's and 4's (capped at 12 children)

Does your child LOVE art? In this new program your child will spend the afternoon exploring art with our former Messy Art teacher, Mrs. Pellenberg. This small group will have the opportunity to use different art mediums in creative and fun ways in the Messy Art room.
*This will be a mixed group of 3's and 4's (capped at 12 children)

If your child enjoys building Legos this new lunch bunch program will expand their creativity. Mrs. Hendrickson will work with the children on different Lego themes each week with the main goal being FUN!
