Winter 2026 Lunch Bunch: PreK
PreK: Pizza Mondays
The children will have a pizza lunch together (or a lunch from home if your child prefers), play in the classroom, and have some outdoor play time as well (weather permitting).
*This may be a mixed age group based on enrollment.

The children will shake off the week and get ready for the weekend with indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting). *Minimum of 6 to run the program.

4's Tuesdays: Numbers and Science
Children investigate numbers and life sciences through hands-on activities and experiments. They will count, measure, mix, balance objects, and test different combinations. They will discover and further understand the world around them such as: Why does hair stand up in the winter? How can an ice cube stick to a string? What is hibernation? And what do worms eat?
Program time: 12-2:30 pm

4's Wednesdays: Letters and Literature
Each week silly puppets will introduce a different letter of the alphabet through games, songs, activities and stories. Children will practice writing the letter in the air, in sand, on paper – they may even try to form the letter with their body. *Capped at 16 children.

4's Thursdays: Kitchen Capers
Cooking is fun! Children will pour, measure, mix and create a delicious, fun and allergy conscious snack. Children should still pack a lunch as the weekly snack is to be enjoyed at the end of the afternoon. A teacher will contact parents with regards to allergies prior to the session starting.
* This will be a mixed group of 3’s and 4’s. Capped at 12 children.

4's Thursdays: Afternoon Art with Ms. Lane
This is a special treat for all Messy Arts lovers! After some time in the playground (weather permitting) and eating their packed lunch, the children will get their creative juices flowing by working on art projects under the guidance of our talented Ms. Lane. *This will be a mixed group of 3’s and 4’s (Capped at 12 children).
Program time: 12- 2:30pm

4's Thursdays: Super Soccer Stars
Super Soccer Stars will teach children the fundamentals of soccer through fun, positive and confidence building games. Children will learn from Super Soccer Stars staff in the rainbow room for one hour of the lunch bunch program. Children will have lunch and continued outdoor play with FCCNS staff. * This will be a mixed group of 3’s and 4’s.. Capped at 12 children with a minimum of 8 to run the program
