PreK: Pizza Mondays
The children will have a pizza lunch together (or a lunch from home if your child prefers), play in the classroom, and have some outdoor play time as well (weather permitting).

The children will shake off the week and get ready for the weekend with indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting).

4's Tuesdays: Numbers and Science
Children investigate numbers and life sciences through hands-on activities and experiments. They will count, measure, mix, balance objects, and test different combinations. They will discover and further understand the world around them such as: Why does hair stand up in the winter? How can an ice cube stick to a string? What is hibernation? And what do worms eat?
Program time: 11:45- 2:30pm

4's Wednesdays: Letters and Literature
Each week silly puppets will introduce a different letter of the alphabet through games, songs, activities and stories. Children will practice writing the letter in the air, in sand, on paper – they may even try to form the letter with their body.

4's Thursdays: Little Gardeners
In this fun and hands-on program children will learn and practice all aspects of gardening and experience the reward of helping the FCCNS garden grow.
*Please note this program does not begin until 10/6

4's Thursdays: Kitchen Capers
Cooking is fun! Children and teachers will pour, measure, mix and create a delicious, fun and allergy conscious snack. This will be a mixed group of 3’s and 4’s (capped at 12 children). Children should still pack a lunch as the weekly snack is to be enjoyed at the end of the afternoon. A teacher will contact parents with regards to allergies prior to the session starting.
